Water pumps have undergone major transformations over the years and the latest-generation components operate on completely overhauled principles: they do not merely activate the circulation to reduce the temperature of the coolant fluid but also, by precisely controlling it, optimise combustion processes, thus helping to reduce fuel consumption and harmful emissions and increase the engine’s efficiency.
Using its OE experience, Saleri has developed more and more advanced temperature control systems, starting from mechanical water pumps, through to electric water pumps that continuously control the coolant’s flow rate and thus its temperature, and variable water pumps, which regulate the flow by means of increasingly sophisticated devices.
